Bible Studies

We believe studying God’s Word together builds faith and strengthens community. Our women’s Bible study meets on Tuesdays at 8:30 a.m., and our men’s Bible study gathers on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. Both groups meet in the Fellowship Hall, offering a warm and encouraging space to grow in Scripture and friendship. Everyone is welcome—come join us!

Our Community

Nestled in the hills of south central Washington, Bickleton is a small town with a big heart. Known as the “Bluebird Capital of the World,” our community is rich in history, tradition, and neighborly spirit. From annual gatherings like the Pioneer Picnic & Rodeo to the charm of our historic carousel, Bickleton is a place where faith, family, and friendship are woven into daily life. At Bickleton Evangelical Community Church, we are grateful to be part of this close-knit community and to share in both its heritage and its hope for the future.

We are part of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), committed to God’s Word, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and living out His love in our communities.

Statement of Faith

All Scripture is self-attesting and being Truth, requires our unreserved submission in all areas of life. The infallible Word of God, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, is a complete and unified witness to God's redemptive acts culminating in the incarnation of the Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, is the supreme and final authority on all matters on which it speaks. On this sure foundation we affirm these additional Essentials of our faith:

Mission Statement

Seeking a love relationship with God and our community.

Vision Statement

Our vision, rooted in the Reformed Tradition, is Soli Deo Gloria, “To God Alone be the Glory.”  We seek to glorify God in all aspects of our life and ministry.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

 —1 Corinthians 10:31

“Humanity’s chief and highest end is to glorify God and fully to enjoy Him forever.”   —Westminster Catechism

Purpose

The purpose of our church is to make disciples.  This is accomplished through:

Faithfulness to Christ’s call to follow Him through:  (Acts 2:42)

  • The study of Scripture, God’s inspired Word.

  • The devotion to individual and corporate Prayer.

  • The fellowship and encouragement of God’s People.

  • The promotion of individual and corporate Worship.

  • Faithfulness to Christ’s call to proclaim His Gospel by:  (Acts 1:8)
